Old Shed near Copse Hill

Painting called Old Shed near Copse Hill
10"x7"          £55

This old shed was discovered by a good friend of mine during his visit to the UK. He was captivated by the old dilapidated rustic character of the building and I could see why as soon as I saw his photograph.

Leopard

Painting called Leopard
10"x7"          £45

When I came across the photograph of this big cat, I felt I just had to have a go at drawing it. Throughout the process I've been thinking of this fine animal as a Cheetah, but I've been looking at other images on the net and finally realised it is a Leopard.

Bolton Priory - Yorkshire

Painting called Bolton Priory - Yorkshire
11"x8"          £25
As I've stated on my Watercolours page, I'm a little confused over the correct name of this semi-ruined priory. I'm not sure if it's "Bolton Priory" or "The Priory at Bolton Abbey". Though I think a scene like this probably needs colour, the greys of a pencil seem to provide a slightly more forboding atmosphere.

Matt Dillon

Painting called Matt Dillon
8"x11"          £30
A 'Tabby' cat who took a shine to one of my friends and decided to adopted them as his own. This handsome fellow arrived at my friends home one day, and decided to stay. It is suspected that he had previously been living wild and he certainly seems like an independant fellow.

Emily Kate

Painting called Emily Kate
Not for Sale

A baby elephant adopted by a good friend of mine. This is one of my most satisfactory drawings. I display it here because I'm proud of it but it is not for sale.

Chestnut

Painting called Chestnut
9"x7"          £35

I don't know the real name of this gorgeous horse but, in view of his splendid colouring, I refer to him as 'Chestnut'. I came across him as I walked out in the countryside one cold and frosty January morning and was grateful that I'd thought to take my camera along.

Rosie

Painting called Rosie
Not for Sale
This was Rosie as a puppy when she still had her 'fluffy' coat. She didn't like posing into the sun, hence the squint. I did consider drawing her eyes open but they are such an important feature I didn't want to make her look like another dog by 'borrowing' some eyes from elsewhere.

Wine Glasses

Painting called Wine Glasses
Not for Sale

The remnants of a romantic dinner for two maybe.
